Tips for New Teachers

Welcome to Health-School.net! We're sure you'll love this exciting and convenient way to reach more students and to offer more material to your existing ones.

  • If you haven't already, the first step is to sign up for your own classroom.

  • Once your classroom is set up (it will take about one business day) you will see your class listed under "My Courses" whenever you login. Initially, the class is invisible to the public - you'll see that your class name is grayed out. Just click the course name to enter it to begin adding material and customizing the layout. When its ready, you can make it available to students using your class Settings menu.

  • We strongly recommend that you watch the New Teachers Tutorial in the Getting Started Category of our course listings. The tutorial will walk you through the details of getting your course online. You may also want to go through the Features Demo (also in the Getting Started Category) to see all the possible resources and activities you can add to your course. If you want help designing your class to make use of more engaging and sophisticated e-learning techniques, like Flash video or PowerPoint conversions, Health-School.net course development services might be for you.   • Once your course is up and running, you will want to advertise and promote it in order to maximize your earnings. The more you spread the word about your class, and the better your reputation for quality material, the faster the enrolment fees will roll in. Like a shopping mall, you'll also benefit from the visitors who initially come to the site for other classes, and in response to our Health-School.net promotions.

  • Payments from students go directly to your PayPal account (unless you have signed up for a Royalty Plan, in which case royalties are calculated and sent to you during the first week of each month). So have fun and get going!
